I've just purchased an HP all-in-one printer, fax, copier. My question is..will I be able to use the fax without having a dedicated fax line. I would be using this only a few times a year and it would not pay to incur the extra monthly cost of a separate line. My phone service is Vonage VOIP and my computer is an Apple Imac. Suggestions?

You don't need another phone line. The all in one should have come with a phone cord. I think the Vonage system allows connecting of regular phones. Other than the Vonage I just plug in the phone line from my fax machine when I want to send a fax. I just can't be talking on the phone at the same time. To receive a fax I have to have the other end to call me after I hook up the fax machine to the phone line. That's the way I have mine because I don't use it often.

We have the 4110 all in one.
There are settings to use the same phone line for both phone and fax.
Instead of Vonage, we have cell phones that we use for calls.
