I kind of have the idea of getting a stupidly powerful handgun after tax returns. My most powerful is a 4 inch 357. Taking an unofficial poll of members here for most enjoyable magnumpowered gun?

    I like S&W N-frames in 44, and 41 Magnum.

The Ruger Super Redhawk in 454 Casull is fun too.

    4-5" S&W .460 or 500 :)

Oh right, enjoyable..... hmm. Since I prefer a semi auto, Desert Eagle in your choice of cal or a Coonan .357

I love the FK BRNO 7.5. It’s not a big bore, but the round is incredible with over 900 ft/lbs of energy and incredible accuracy out to 100 yards.

7-30 Waters or 30-30 are tied for most powerful I've had experience with. The 30-30 didn't stay long still have the 7-30 and put a break on it.

Technically I don't see any reason why not but I've not come across any for sale and don't expect to either.
They are very niche handguns that don't really have a purpose here and quite pricey, you still have to add the "Australia Tax" on top of it's current price, so they would have no demand for any dealers to bring them in.

Perhaps an individual will import one or have one imported by a dealer for them one day.

Currently a 5” S&W 27-2, but this year I hope to add a 5” 29 to the mix. Used to shoot a lot of .44 Magnum in a Super Blackhawk, but my days of pounding heavy .44 loads at the range on a regular basis have passed.

I have a .444 Marlin barrel for my T/C Contender. Use to have one in .375 JDJ. Now those are hand cannons.

    Ruger Toklat.

Really wouldn't mind one of the new DE L5s in .44s for fun.

I am not sure if the .45Colt qualifies as a hand cannon, but this is my favorite big-bore revolver.
