I was wondering what members here on the board use for a target when dry- firing your GLOCK.
Do you have a spot on the wall, a picture of the Ex, or a talking head on PMSnbc?
It is one thing to get the feel for the trigger, it is another to concentrate on your site picture and make sure you are not flinching or moving the weapon when pulling the trigger.
So what is your favorite dry fire target?
Mine is a picture on the wall.

Mine was a standard bullseye target on the wall in the basement. I since have stopped dry firing altogether. I found that after 1000's of dry fires I became so accustomed to pulling the trigger, that everytime i picked up a gun i wanted to pull the trigger. I now prefer to only to pull the trigger at the range, and to keep finger off trigger any other time. Just my opinion.

You will do what you practice - if you dry-fire without regard for safety, you will do the same with a loaded gun. Make proper gun handling part of your dry fire practice and you won't have that problem.

My angry, evil doorknob.
And I thought I was the only one with an evil door knob ;) . And as to what Bren said, I a double or or even triple safety check any time I am going to do some dry firing. It has translated into good safety habits.

I prefer to practice on neighbors cats entering my yard, makes the passers by nervous hahaha J/K!

I generally don't dry fire a whole lot because i have not purchased any snap caps yet. I know empty dry firing is ok to a point, but I dont know what it does to glocks?

What did those poor door knobs ever do to you all? That seems to be the most popular target.

Many NFL players have gone down to my practice sessions.

I find moving targets on the tube to be quite challenging. Especially as small as the images are.
