    What's your favorite canned meat?
My favorite right out of the can are Libby's Vienna sausages.
My favorite canned meat to cook with is corned beef that I put in deep fried taquitos.

    What's yours?

Of course, I'm sure we'll get the soft hands who don't eat anything out of a can.

Thinly sliced Spam, fried till slightly burned, put on lightly toasted bread with sweet relish and spicy mustard. Hangover sandwich.

I love canned tamales for some reason.

But no. . . I don't make a practice out of eating canned meat. Life is too short. I want to eat and drink different delicious foods.

I started putting Hormel tamales on a hotdog bun with nacho cheese after I saw the Chicago Layover with Bourdain.
    Damn good sandwich!

When I was young, I spent a lot of time with my grandad and we ate all kinds of canned meats, hash, you name it. I learned to love them all.

Problem is if I brought home some canned meat my wife would beech slap me real bad and I don't like getting beech slapped. So no canned meat for me.

Probably just as well, my BP really can't handle the salt... Rationalization for being my wife's beech? Course.

I forgot about hash. Hash is one of my all time favorite meals. I get a couple cans every grocery run.

Tuna. However, that comes in a foil packet now so it may not count.
