Wow, the quality control of some centrrfire Remington and Winchester ammo leaves a lot to be desired. I much prefer CCI/Federal.

Some think I am paranoid because I inspect every round that I purchase but that picture is precisely why I do it.

I concur. Though G27.3 is making a strong case. Glock wide in fact.

My G23.4 would be my favorite. The 27.4 is a close second though and is what I’ve been carrying a bunch this summer.

I like to carry my Gen3 23 (post #104) in this Simply Rugged holster.

I really like the 23. For whatever reason I find that gun to handle better than the 22. I have a 2004 Gen3 that has thousands and thousands of rounds through it. I can’t even guess. When I bought it I didn’t know it was supposed to break after XXXX rounds so I never kept track.

Creeper stole my G27.3. Found a great deal in a G23.4. That one is the keeper. It's all good.

Have had the G23 since they first came onto the market and carried it on the cop job when I had plainclothes details and then when I went into the DB. Never had an issue with it and the recoil was not as bad as many say. In my 10th year of retirement, its been relegated to gunsafe. I almost always carry my G27 which I find it to be even more accurate versus the 23. The .40 caliber round has a proven record in law enforcement for a number of years now, even though the 9mm takeover is just about complete. Best thing I ever got was a 9mm conversion barrel for my 23, so now I have 2 guns in one!

I had in installed a OEM 357 SIG barrel in my G23.4. Put the original back in the gun when all this crap about 40 caliber started. Either way the handgun works great.

I own all the .40 sizes except the 24. It's between the 27 and 35 for the top gun for me, with the 23 a close follow up. The 27 gets the nod for carry, and the 35 for competition. I'm not fond on the 22 for carry or competition, but it's my last duty gun before retirement. I have 9mm conversion barrels for all of them (5) for those days when I'm just not feeling it.

Any of the C models, especially the Gen4 22C (1 of 55) that I was lucky enough to acquire. Then the Gen4 23C (1 of 155).

Well, I've been working with the G27.4 which is my EDC ... and today it all seemed to come together ... if it got better than this, I may not be able to go to sleep at night!

15 YDS, 100 Rounds 165gr JHP ... the fliers were a 5-shot group with a 4.64sec time, which is obviously pushing beyond my current abilities ... the other 95 rounds had an average split time of 1.1 sec.

Almost like having to pick a favorite among your children. I have the 22,23,27,and 35 models, all gen 3, and like them all. Love the feel of the grip on the 35 and 22 next best feel is the 23. The 27 feels awful but gets carried the most because I shoot it better than my 23. Crazy sounding but factual.

I like my 23 G4, just happens to be a USA made which is why I bought my first 40 anything. Felt patriotic to buy a USA made Glock, impulse buy. Now have 3 CZ 40s and the 23. Would probably buy another Glock 40 if they come out with a Gen 5, especially a 27.
