Can anyone provide a manufacturer name that makes LARGE diameter earplugs? I guess I have wider ear channels than most, and all the plugs I try perform an inadequate job of noise reduction - even with ear muffs. Would it kill these companies to make these plugs 2, 3, 0r 5 millimeters thicker? I would even try one as thick as my big toe! Thanks in advance. Cheers...

There is a guy who works at a company I do business with, who has ear canals that are literally thumb-sized.

He seems to hear OK (seriously- I was not making a joke).

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I did find that Walgreen's carries "Hearos" - which seem to be big enough. But still looking, and am considering producing my own.
