I just took this. Sorry for the feet photobomb.

    1019202119.jpg

From top-Left down: Ka-Bar 1245 8" Tanto, CRKT Mah Eraser 3.8", Cold Steel Code-4 AUS-8 3.5" (top-Right down): Cold Steel Master Tanto San-Mai 6", Fox Knives 598 fixed blade 3.2", Kershaw Dividend 3". And in the center is a Leatherman PST. :)

I just received the Fox Knives Karambit yesterday, which is going to be my daily-carry self-defense knife. It is WICKED sharp....one of THE sharpest knives I've ever had by far. I'm not sure I like the grips....the finger grooves are distracting, and the G10 is like gripping dry sand paper. But I've never had a Karambit before, so I probably just need to get used to it. I prefer a reverse-grip on it as well, which is how I'll carry it. It came with a nice kydex sheath with dots attatchments.

I also received the Kershaw Dividend last week, and I really like it. It's my first-ever American-made folder. The feel of the quality is amazing....very solid little knife. I do wish it came with thumb-studs instead of a flipper though. This might just replace my Code-4 as my EDC.

I had a CRKT M16 a while back that I gave to my sister, and a Gerber Prodigy which I mailed to a buddy of mine last month. Nevertheless, while this is a meager collection compared to some, I like it. And I plan to grow it with a Fox Knives Pica Karambit and a Zero Tolerance folder of some sort.

Your Fox Karambit will not need that kydex sheath because all you do is clip it a certain way inside your pocket, then when you draw it out, the knife automatic opens as it uses the Emerson Wave feature built into the knife! Great purchase and good luck!

Thanks! Up until I got that Fox Karambit, that Tanto had the sharpest point of any knife I have ever had. The tip absolutely glitters, and it is needle-sharp.

    I don't drink alcohol. It's a bottle cap from a Henry Weinhard's Rootbeer I drank with a cigar.

Jesus! Is that the feet of Robert Oberst? The toes are bigger than the actual shotgun, lmao.

Thanks, but this is a fixed-blade model, so I kind of do need the sheath.

Certainly nothing wrong with a classic! I was just looking at Ontario knives' offerings in the Ka-Bar-style department. I'm definitely going to grow my USA-made fixed blade collection.
