I've seen a couple online gun stores over the last year or two that are clearly setup to rip people's money off. I didn't see any other threads about this so this may be a good place to list any of them you may have found. I've got some background in vetting these type of fake websites. Please be sure if you list one here that it is truly a scam website.
This started today as an investigation after getting email from glocktalk.com about the message thread that involved
kentuckyglockstore.com and a user here who had apparently been scammed by this website. But when I came here to see the message thread it was gone. I found the user kentuckyglockstore.com on glocktalk has been banned and then found some interesting things when I went to that website. One was an address that does not seem to exist. If you click on 'Contact Us' at the top of the website it lists:
Honor Gun Company
4798 Thunder road
95134 United States
That Zip code is in San Jose, California. That actual street does NOT exist there. It also does not exist in Kentucky. In another area of the website this address is listed :
"15 Outer Loop, Louisville,ky, 40219 United States " which also does not seem to exist according to Google maps.
Then it gets more fun when you click on their Glock 19 Gen 5 review: Unboxing the Glock 19 Gen 5 - KENTUCKY GLOCK STORE. They show a picture which is definitely not a Glock - I think it is a Beretta. And this is a review below the picture which was in Latin. I converted it to English:
