How many of you owned, rode or just lusted after one of the turbo charged motorcycles that were offered for sale in the 1980's?
    Or any other time?
Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki all offered them.
They faded away due to cost, etc.

I have always liked the GPZ 750 Turbo. That was one era I wish we would have back.

Cost had something to do with it, being blacklisted by insurance companies had a HUGE part of why those bikes didn't do well...

But seriously, a modern 1k is putting better than 175 BHP to the ground, in a package that weighs less than 400 lbs - gassed and ready to rock!

    Technology is a beautiful thing!

I love MotoGO - 800cc, more than 200 BHP, and can hit 200 MPH with gears to spare...

I had a weakness for the red/white/blue Honda 500 turbo with the shaft drive.

It was a sweet bike. Improved it when they bumped the cc to 650.
Too bad they started with such a small high revving motor.
