For the 9/40 frames and the .45/10 frames are there TWO different Glock factory ext. slide stops?

Or is it just the two and three pin ones for the older and newer guns?

    How about the SF guns?

I went to swap out the parts in my new G21SF this afternoon and realized the ext slide stop levers I had on hand only read "9/40 guns"? Can't tell if it's my mistake for how I marked their container, or if there are two different size ones?

Glockmeister shows one for the 9/40 and one for the 45/10 (again, factory parts), Lone Wolf does not? :(

I don't remember ordering a different one for my older G21 I still have, vs. the ones I have order for my recent 9/40 guns, and I don't remember ordering a different one last year when I bought my G30SF I no longer have? :(

I just need to make sure I got the right one in both my G21 and my new G21SF.

    Thanks -

Anyone got a PDF of the parts and part numbers that work in which models across the board and which do not?

    #7496 Extended 9, 40, 357 (Not 2-pin G17, 17L, 34) including Gen4's
    SP 07489 Extended - fits only 2-pin G17, 17L, 34 (1986 to mid 2002)
    SP 01034 Extended - fits only G20, 21, 37, 37Gen4, 38, 39

Above is from Glock's Armorers Will-Fit Parts List and is inclusive. However, some armorers have found these 3 to fit models other than those listed.

What's a #5299 then? Must fit the 45/10 and the 45SF/10SF guns, as that is what was in my new G21SF I got today, and what I have left from my old G21 and G30SF?

    Thanks -

Now I'm going to throw a monkey wrench into the mix -

    What's a 7482?

That's what I just pulled out of my old G21, which I understand IS the wrong one for the 45/10 guns (and I'll bet 45SF/10SF too). My guess the #7482 is for the 9/40 three pin guns?

    Thanks -

The slide stops have different numbers stamped on them, they're not the actual part numbers. I'm not an Armorer so I don't know which numbers correspond to the actual part numbers.

    5299-1 stamp is the Part # SP 05306 - fits only 20, 20SF, 21, 21SF, 21G4, 29, 29SF, 30, 30SF

    7482-1 stamp is the Part # 7496 (already referenced above) 9/40/357 - 3-pin extended

Is 5299-1 stamp, part # SP 05306 the EXTENDED for the G21 and G21SF then?

Just want to make sure before I order two.

    Thanks -

SP 05306 does not show as Extended on my parts list... however, the SP 01034 is the Extended Slide Stop for the 21. I just installed one in a 21SF Ambi and it worked fine - others have done that as well, but it's not official. That part is stamped 3020-1.

There is no extended stop listed specifically for SFs.

Ok, so I ordered a "SP 01034" for my G21SF, stamped "3020-1" so we're good to go there.

    Now, here's the new delima :( -

Comparing it to the stamped "7482-2" I've been running in all of my 9mm Glocks (26,19, & a 17) I can see NO difference between the two. Here's some pics of the two, w/ the 3021 on top and the 7482 on the bottom. You tell me the difference -

I believe I took this 7482 (old one) out of my old G21 and hand been running it it for some time. I KNOW I have shot the gun at least ONCE (I don't remember how many rounds, I'd say min of 100) with it in it. I KNOW last time I shot it it worked perfectly.

Regardless, I want the correct part # in both guns (21 and 21SF) so I took it out for now and have not had a chance to try the 3020 in either gun yet.

Still, I'd love to know the difference between the two if anyone can see it, b/c I sure can't! :) There must be a reason Uncle Gaston has two different part numbers listed for the 9 mm/45 sized guns (?).

    Thanks!

I just realized after looking at these pics that the 7482 looks bigger in a couple of the pics, but that is only b/c it is closer to the camera, and the angle the pic was taken at.

Trust me, in hand they look identical size wise in all dimensions and shapes.

The 9mm one looks like it's larger in the area that contacts the follower of the magazine, it sticks out more.

Yes I thought it looked big to but you said they were the same so I attributed it to shadows and distance.

Nope, just measured them, both are about 1/4" long / deep into the mag.

Can't get a real good picture of it, but they both measure the same.

I just shot 200 rounds though my new 21SF this AM w/ ext slide stop P/N "SP 01034" stamped "3020-1", and it shot flawlessly. :)

I was using cheap range crap ammo and various factory mags (one 13 round high cap, two factory 13 rounders w/ Pearce +2s on them (15 round mags) and two old factory 10 rounders I leave in the car). ALL were perfect. :)

So, for me, here's the million dollar question: will the 7496 work in a G30SF, or not?

I have a G20sf and a G27, and right now am using the extended slide stop specifically ordered for each gun in the other...and both work great. I believe they are interchangeable. As for the different numbers, I really don't know...

I had one on my 30SF before I sold it, but I honestly can NOT say I either remember which one it was, or can remember ordering one for it specifically (I had a stock of 5 or so ext slide stop levers and ext mag catch releases I kept on hand at one point).

I THINK it was a 9mm/40 one and it worked, but do NOT quote me on that, and order the RIGHT one for a 30SF if you are buying one.
