    Yep, all in the name of freedom and liberty don't you know.

    Nothing like a President who really cares for the people of his Country.

    We're so luck to have him. Just think what would happen if it were left up to something so outdated and obsolete, such as......oh, maybe the Constitution to decide these things. Whew, glad we didn't make that mistake.

    We really are a lucky people to have someone that altruistic looking out for us.

    Give it a minute, there'll be some chime in here to explain that to you.

    I'm not wearing my tinfoil hat today, so pardon me if I missed a few facts.

    Yes, this is bad.

    No, it does NOT mean that Interpol can simply snatch up an American citizen to do what they want with. Constitutional protections still apply to every individual in this country. Our filthy President may have essentially granted diplomatic immunity to an international "law enforcement" organization, but the black helicopters ain't quite hovering overhead....yet.

    Not true. INTERPOL is NOT a police or law enforcement organization. Its purpose is investigative and intelligence gathering only. They can't arrest or snatch up anyone.

    I don't mean to say that Obama is up to any good. But some sites are printing a lot of BS about this to fire people up and lies do not help our side.

    There are already three threads running on this:

    They already had diplomatic immunity, Reagan gave it to them. Obama just went a step further and exempted them from FOIA. Not that I agree with him, just wanted to clarify.

    Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983

    International Criminal Police Organizations

    By virtue of the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and statutes of the United States, including Section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (59 Stat. 669, 22 U.S.C. 288), it is hereby ordered that the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), in which the United States participates pursuant to 22 U.S.C. 263a, is hereby designated as a public international organization entitled to enjoy the privileges, exemptions and immunities conferred by the International Organizations Immunities Act; except those provided by Section 2(c), the portions of Section 2(d) and Section 3 relating to customs duties and federal internal-revenue importation taxes, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act. This designation is not intended to abridge in any respect the privileges, exemptions or immunities which such organization may have acquired or may acquire by international agreement or by Congressional action.

    Wow!:faint: Need to read up people. Obama's amendment struck the passage in bold above. These sections relate to taxes and customs duties.

    Interpol DOES NOT HAVE FREE REIGN OVER U.S. CITIZENS.

    I hear black helicopters coming!:rofl::rofl:

    You beat me to it.

    Also do some research on Interpol. They are very hands off and rely a lot on local law enforcement.
