No me and the missus didnt take a stroll.

I was looking at a piece of land for the bank. Due to a gate, I had to walk in to a 250 acre tract that the guy uses as a hunting camp. It fronts on a river. Beautiful land with deer, turkey, I saw two red tail hawks. I was thinking, man I would love to hunt here, and was almost at the rivers edge when I rounded a curve in the dirt road. And... Wild Boar!! A whole family of them. At least 10+ with most being 20+/- pound young hogs. I froze, and then got to thinking that my G26 isnt enough gun for boar, much less that many. I was about a 1/2 mile from the truck. Thankfully, they strolled on into the woods, and I left.

I am not scared of much in the woods but, they sure scared me. I have never encountered them before.

Anyways, I just thought I would share my story.

Would this piece of land be for sale soon? And where is it? I would love to find another place to add to the portfolio.

A buddy of mine was squirrel hunting in VT and got scented by two bears. The female kept looking RIGHT AT HIM trying to figure out where he was. She was PISSED. Eventually, they scampered off and my bud could poop his pants properly. LOL

The property isnt for sale. Without being too specific, basically a refi for the owner. But wow, it was a hunting paradise. The ground was literally pulverized from the deer traffic.

10mm - Not my cup of tea. I would rather have my .357 mag. Not to mention I have never seen it on the shelf. I could go with my AK, but that probably would be awkward doing my job. Maybr next time I will take the G21 and my spare mags!! The spare mags were my stupid moment since I left 2 G19 mags in the truck. 9mm may not be enough, but a lot of 9mm may do the trick!! lol

    No flames.

The problem is, young piglets/boars = angry mother****ing momma boars (they take care of each other's offspring).
