As hard as its been to find parts, I've got my spikes lower, and BCG. I have a lower build kit/ mid length upper ordered from PSA. This will be my first midlength and also my first flat dark earth rifle. I want to do a ff rail. Thinking about the Troy/vtac battlerail. Any other suggestions? I'm getting nervous about the reviews on psa, but I'm staying positive! Here's a pic of what I have so far, not much but it's. start... ImageUploadedByOHubCampfire1355622332.634871.jpg

Looking good so far. I just built my first AR a few months back with all PSA parts and FDE Magpul furniture...

Very nice! Are you pretty happy with the fit/finish of PSA. I have never personally seen any; just read good reviews online.

PSA is top notch as far as I'm concerned. I'm no expert, but the fit and finish on my rifle is excellent. It did take a while to get my upper, but it was well worth the wait...and it shoots great!

    That's a nice start!

Here is my last FDE AR build:

This is my current FDE build, just waiting on a Daniel Defense 12 Lite Rail to arrive.

I have 2 PSA uppers and a PSA lower. All are well built with great fit and finish. Your build is looking good I am sure it will be great when complete.

I've considered the dd light rail myself. Seems to be top notch. I just can't make up my mind on quad rail or the vtac style (not sure what the style is called)...

I know it's hard. Either one will be a good choice. I also like the MOE hand guards. They are durable as hell and have zero play on my rifle, they look nice, allow you to mount lights and what not, and all that for just a few dollars.

Nice! You're getting closer to the finish line. Received my DD rail today. The problem is that I ordered a black 12 inch lite rail, but received a DD M4A1 RIS II rail in Flat Dark Earth instead. Since both cost the same, I think I will just shut up and don't tell them what happened. That thing is sweeeeet.
