That video is from Captain Slate's website. I wish I had a video camera when I made that dive, but all I have of me are stills (and no, I'm not posting them).

I have a video camera now, so maybe I have to do that dive again.

They actually seem to like being stroked. Even if you don't try to pet them, they will slide between your legs and wrap themselves, kind of like a house cat does.

Chicks dig scars when there is a bad azz story behind them.
"I got this scar cooking bacon" does not qualify.

For the record, I bake bacon. It's the easiest way to get it perfectly crispy yet still melt-in-your-mouth... Also, if anyone asks, the scar on my forearm is from the time a shark threw acid at me, not from accidentally dropping a piece of chicken into the fryer. I made up the chicken story because I was embarrassed I let the shark get so close. ;)

Technically I wasn't naked. But I wasn't wearing underwear either.

That whole night and following morning was one bad decision after another.

Well thank you. It wasn't too bad. I won't have any permanent reminders of this fiasco.

My room mate came in drunk one night and decided he wanted a grilled cheese sandwich, put the sammy in the frying pan and passed out. Lucky I was sober.

Well I have been cooking...err...frying bacon in a large cast iron frying pan since my late teens. I have never spilled bacon, and never started any type of fire. However, every once in awhile(5-10 yrs.) I get a very good reflex test when a bacon grease pop from the frying pan goes for my eye. My eye blinks before I ever even have a chance to think about it. If I had to think about it, it would be too late and a hot grease-splatter droplet would have hit my eyeball. Hand reflexes got nuthin' on the eyes that's for sure. The hand is quicker than the eye is a bogus statement, and it's not even close. Sayonara.

It sure can be but that procedure has it's own draw backs and messes. Then there's that totally cooked bacon, that just needs to be heated somehow but that bacon is way, way expensive, might as well buy my real love and favorite...Filet Mignon. Sayonara.
