I did in Portland. It was fun, and a good test. To be clear: it was still two hands. I just used my left hand as the strong hand.

All the time. :animlol: Its called Tendonitis.

I've had to modify my grip.

I did shoot with the other weak hand in a non-GSSF shoot and did about as well.

    :)

Just looked up that match to remind myself.

    Weakhand -116.02 (comp div)
    Regular -75.90 (civ div)

    Same match. 40 seconds different.

I was gonna work on getting faster with that weak hand, but forgot about it in the second match. Then I liked the "warm up" shooting it normal gave me.

I might go back to shooting weak handed for that div.

One of our local guys usually shoots a category at the San Antonio match weak-handed (and does very well, too!). He'll probably chime in after seeing this post. (You know who you are, TR!)

I practice at the range week handed. Ya never know when you might have to shoot with your strong hand disabled. When I was a Reserve Officer, we drilled quite a bit week handed. Every thing from mag changes, to racking the slide on our belts.

I have to work on two hands before I consider one. But I do practice with my weak hand, its not all that hard when you're ambi-dextrous.

I had problems in UL once and shot part of the match weak hand only. I was slower but my shooting improved over what I had been doing.

I have actually thought about doing that. Done for this year in GSSF, but I will probably try it next year. I'm honestly about as accurate weak-handed, just slower. It is a great skill to have, that is for sure.

i can weld about as good left handed as right and i think developing that skill has helped my weak hand shooting.

Wekding would be a great way to build coordination with your weak hand. You have to move in 3 directions. Left, right, and downward as the stick is consumed.

I wish I had a nice welding shop. I havent welded in a while.
