A mexican man who works for me brought in some pambasos yesterday and, oh my gosh, what a treat! It was chorizo fried with potatoes, stuffed with cheese and sour cream in a torta roll and fried until it was reddish and crispy. It was about 8" long, oval shaped, flat, about 1" high and the torta was on both the top and the bottom, sealed at the edges. He told me these are a special meal served only at "real" mexican restaurants. If you EVER get the chance, eat one of these.
