Event Photo - where to post/host pics?

    Since buying my DSLR, I have been asked to take pics here & there for folks. Now I've been asked to take pics for a neighborhood event. I'm not good enough to charge anyone for pics. But I wanted to post the pics where folks can download or order prints. With each pic consuming a lot of memory, I expect this will consume a lot of space. Is there an online website that's good for hosting/posting pics like this...preferably free?

    This is all new to me. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

    You could use photobucket or flickr. Your ISP may also give some space that you could use.

    I use www.shutterfly.com this is how we share photos with our families that are in Seattle and Chicago. all we have to do is upload the photos and send the link to the people we want to see the photos and they have the option to buy them directly from the site. it has worked well for us so far.
