Who is Eric Church? Never heard of him/her/it.
He’s a country music artist who has stated that the NRA is to blame for last years mass shooting in Las Vegas. He also has a restaurant/bar in Windham,Me. called Eric’s Church.
I hate that. He has a pretty amazing bio.
Which part is amazing? The furniture upholstering part, or the singing Jimmy Buffet covers part???
Just like country music is responsible for alcoholism, infidelity, failed relationships, dead dogs, the redneck lifestyle, breaking the law and so on...
Eric Church =
country music newer than 1990 sucks balls
If I’m not mistaken he was adopted by whomever and was given back, adopted again, a pretty sad story but amazing to me.
I had no idea he said that, I’ve seen the bastard in concert too. I felt like a grandad there with all those youngons
I recant, I’m thinking of Rodney Atkins
I liked a couple of his songs. Disheartening
I don't know Toby Keith has some good stuff.
I think if you listen to Made in America and check off at least 80% of the things in that song that you identify with you are almost certainly voting for Trump.
Pretty much. Eric Church's popularity has waned in recent years. This is simply trying to gain any new audience ,no matter who they be.
Says he wants bump stocks banned, and thinks the NRA is a road block. Gets lambasted.
NRA says bump stocks should be banned, and rolls on gun rights, but you say anything negative and posters line up to call you out......
Hopefully, Church's career will be destroyed.
Most country is garbage nowadays. There are a few that are still worth listening to IMHO. Jamey Johnson, Zac Brown Band, and Chris Stapleton are all good and remind me of the older stuff (although ZBB is a touch on the pop side for me).
You started the thread. I bet you care.
So I guess you think ultra liberals like Kris and Cash were real country?
That's why these threads are so funny. A couple of somewhat newer country singers will something anti-gun, then someone will say all new country music sucks anyways.
Well, I got news for you, the country rappers/hickhop artist like Colt Ford, Big Smo, Jawga Boys, ect. are the most pro-gun artists out there. Or that artists like John Rich doubled down are their pro-guness since the Vegas shooting, but I guess he doesn't matter since he's "new country".
Eric Church was one of those guys that tried to be somewhat traditional,LOL.
So in reality, pop country is far more pro-gun than the outlaw country/traditional wannabes like Church.
Toby Keith changed his party registration to Independent years ago and has said numerous times since. Check out his interview with Chelsea Handler if you don't believe me.He also played Trump's inauguration
