While taking the time to be grateful for those who have offered the ultimate sacrifice for our country, today is also the second anniversary of my brothers death. Lots of conflicting emotions. It does get easier, and to be honest, I think of him on lots of non signifigant days, and I know darn well he doesn't want us beating our breasts over it year after year.

So for me, it's more of a quiet sigh and time of reflection. That's all.

I'm so sorry for your loss. It will get easier, from my own experience.

I appreciate it, I'm not really sad, it was more of a " oh, yeah, it's that day again" kind of thing. I mean, I'd rather have him here, will always miss him and remember him, but life moves forward. I dunno, I think I'm babbling.

Thinking "out loud" is part of this. And it's good to babble on!
