I posted this in the hunting forum, but there is more traffic here.

I am looking for some electronic earmuffs for hunting. I want them more for warmth than for hearing protection. I also need good directional detection, not just stereo.

From my research I have found two that look promising.
Walkers Power Muff Quads and Radians Maximus

    Anyone have either of these?

    Any other good options?

    Thanks.

I saw that thread. I am really curios how well you can locate sounds with them. I have doubts that just stereo would be that accurate. Everything I have read talks about right and left detection, but what about front to rear? That's why I am leaning towards a quad setup.
