    My Dad was in SAC and we lived in Fairfield, CA outside of San Francisco. There was a crash at Edwards and he took me with as he had to be part of the investigation. I was 5 and an Air Force brat. He introduced me to one of the test pilots. Chuck Yeager. I'm 60 now but still remember it.

    Hey Windpoint, I was in MAC stationed at Travis AFB ( C- 141), lived in Fairfield when I could afford to live off base. Nice area, a couple hour drive would get you to either snow or the ocean. Loved living there back in the late 70's.
