The goal of Integrated Combatives training is the seamless integration of empty hand, edged and impact weapons, and firearms for personal defense.
This specific class will focus on fundamental concepts and techniques of using and defending against edged weapons.
Course topics will include weapon selection and modes of carry, rapid acquisition under pressure, and effective methods of attack and defense.
We will analyze the role of the blade both as a stand alone defense tool and as an adjunct to a concealed firearm.

    Prerequisites: none
This course will require moderate physical exertion. There will be light contact during some drills. Martial arts experience and a high level of fitness, while valuable, are not mandatory for this introductory level class.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for training.
Goggles or safety glasses are mandatory during partner drills. There will be loaner glasses available.
Training weapons will be provided for class use.
Drone or training versions of your preferred carry blades are welcome.
Live blades are welcome for “show and tell” but will not be allowed on the training floor.

    Course fee: $75
Special! $25 off for attendees of the Cecil Burch seminar on August 4th and 5th

Hi, it looks like I missed this class, but I have been looking for an edged weapons training in the Las Vegas area because I found some great Las Vegas Deals on hotels. I am wondering if there are any other classes that Chuck Burnett is offering in 2013, and if not, are there any other ones you would recommend? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
