Need suggestions for a quality set of earphones that will permit listening to music while the wife sleeps. Would prefer something not as heavy as range muffs. Also, if possible, online sources (preferably discount).

This is kind of a a hard question to answer. Any headphones will work but it all depends how you sleep.

Ear buds come to mind. But is your wife a light sleeper? How loud do you play your music? At night music seems very loud even at level 1.

Don't go to sleep to music. Otherwise you'll turn into Charles Manson.

Not a joke by the way.

I've had the QC2s for a few years and absolutely love them. I basically will buy about anything Bose puts out. But I bought their ear buds for the gym and have been dissappointed. I should have known something was up when I found them at Target...
