Early , I mean Early G17 pics ?

    I am reading a biography on Gaston Glock (The rise of Americas gun)and I was wanting to know if anyone here had any early photos of his G17 ? It is so interesting! I have a Gen 2 G17 but a pic or two of a G17 gen 1 would be nice !

    Many own old G17s on this forum.

    If I ever get another Glock, that may be the one I'd go for.

    Glock 17L (still a 17, right?) with factory ported barrel, ED serial number prefix, ATT barrel code, which dates it to December 1988:

    There were some pictures of early G17's provided to the Austrian Army, they had "P80" instead of "17" and they had a little marking of a triangle inside of a circle. Sadly whoever posted them chose to use photobucket to host them and they're no longer available.

    Yes, it's a Gen 2. You can see the back strap checkering and the fact that it is slab sided without thumb grooves.
