DW CBOB vs CZ 75 B for carrying

    So, I've been looking at a 1911 for a new winter carry gun and a CBOB is in my top 3. I noticed, though, that my CZ 75 B has the same length and width as the CBOB, and both have a rounded/bobbed grip. Assuming I replace the rubber grips with some thin wood ones, does anyone know how would they compare for concealability? If they're about the same, I'd rather spend money on a gun that's different.

    Usage:
    This would be for carrying at work (real estate). I need to carry a gun because we do a lot of work in low income parts of town. I'd be wearing a light jacket at best when out in the field or running errands, and tucking my shirt into the holster while in the office. It's a gun-friendly office, but I'd still like to keep it concealed for tenants, investors, etc.

    While i would love to say GET THE CBOB. I dont really think you would see or feel much of a difference. So keep the CZ, and get a Valor!!

    Cbob and carry and extra magazine or 2.

    I think you will find the CBOB to conceal easier. The bobtail is more pronounced, making the grip look shorter, and the slimness of the profile will really help. Plus everyone needs a great 1911, and a CBOB is a fine example.

    I vote CBOB too. I had a CZ-75b and was a huge gun. It's slim where it counts, but that grip is quite large.

    Sigh, I was trying to get a CCO-style gun and use the CZ as a substitute for a bobtail. I stopped by a couple gun shops this afternoon and one just got 3 Kimbers in, so I was able to handle a Super Carry Pro. The bobtail and melt treatment were both definite improvements over the Pro Carry, though I didn't care for the snakeskin details or the two-tone color. If I'm gonna go over the $1,000 price mark, I guess I'll stick to Dan Wesson and see which model I can actually get ordered, and let that guide which gun to get first.

    I love the CZ 75, but would go with the 1911 for carry.

    I know this is the 1911 section, and I love my CBOB and my new custom ordered 9mm VBOB, but for carry I say CZ PCR. Aluminum frame, 14 rds. and with slim grips, the grip is smaller than the single stack 1911.

    I was joking around with the guy, but I actually might do that at some point.

    Carrying the CZ 75 would've just been a temporary solution anyway. I really need to stick to American guns at work, as a lot of our workers and investors are traditionalist country boys.
