My father-in-law lives out in Stephenville. Everytime I'm out there, I have to pick up a few bottles of "Dublin" Dr. Pepper. It's made in Dublin, TX at the world's oldest running Dr. Pepper plant.

Rather than being made with High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS), it's sweetener is Imperial Pure Cane Sugar.

    Anyone else know of it?

    Anyone else drink it?

I generally drink water all the time, but being Texan by birth it's hard to avoid Iced Tea and Dr. Pepper cravings.

I actually like the taste of the caffeine-free diet Dr. Pepper.

Something about the Dublin DP is addictive. I buy 2-3 six packs in the 8oz bottles. Once they're gone, that's all I have until the next trip out west.

Years ago, when I visited the DrPepper museum in Waco, they served it to all the visitors. It's what DrPepper originally tasted like.

Why is it that the only Coca-Cola I can get with real sugar in it (the only one that tastes right) is made in Mexico?

All soft drinks taste better with real sugar than with substituted high fructose corn ****

I just consumed my last bottle of Dublin Dr. Pepper. :crying:

    In my "Rodney King" voice...
"Can't, can't we just all get Dublin Dr. Pepper in the stores..."

Its good stuff, my little brother used it at his wedding a few weeks ago for toasts instead of champagne. I have seen it at chicken express and even a few gas station fountain machines in College Station.

The Dublin Dr Pepper and Mexican Coke are the best! Made with cane sugar...old school..like when we were kids.

I don't drink soft drinks much at all but when I do indulge...I want Dublin Dr Pepper or Mexican Coke. They're the best.
