Can anyone recommend a dual recoil spring for the GEN3 that rivals that of the GEN4 ?

    Own a G30 & the recoil is ... well a 45.

    Looking for some magic!

Isn't the Gen3 G30 already a dual recoil spring assembly?

this is the disclaimer that is on the page:

You get used to the recoil with practice. Changing springs is not the answer.

"If you're not handloading your ammunition, or shooting notably light, or hot loads from the factory, it is advised you stay with the factory spring weight for your Glock. A lesser weight spring can be used with low power loads, vice versa with high power loads."

There is no magic, but recoil seems to lessen the more you shoot

I think messing with a heavier spring can start to cause malfunctions. I, personally, wouldn't do it. I agree that shooting it more will lessen the impression that the recoil is too severe for the OP.

The G30 has come with a dual recoil spring assembly ever since it's introduction in 1997. When a Gen 4 becomes available, it will use the very same spring. Learn to handle recoil through proper two handed grip/stance/posture. Anyone can do it.
