I have been doing some testing with the DT 40S&W 150gr round and have been pleased. I am averaging about 1,320 FPS out of a 4.5" barreled G23 and the recoil is not bad. I was actually shooting it better than my hot 357 sig. Below is a picture of a couple of fired bullets. The one on the right went through 4 layer of heavy denim and then through 3 gallon jugs of water. This generally means over 12 inches in ballistic gel. The expansion is 0.71". I shot 3 more rounds through the denim and all expanded. The bullet on the left was fired through bare jugs. It too went through all three jugs and expanded to 0.73" It is hard to see in the picture, but the expansion slopes downward on the edge. The recovered weight was 144.3 gr. You can see a crack, but the bullet did not fragment. The round was very accurate (precise). More so than my 357 sig.
