I don't have one, but have seen a similar one on a friends Glock 22. It is made by JP Optics I believe.

I think the JP Optics and Dr Optics can be purchased from:

    www.topglock.com
    www.midwayusa.com
    www.brownells.com

I've seen several different Red Dots, and tried a few. These type, that fit in the rear sight groove were my favorite ones.

    I forgot to add:

Biggest advantage I see with this type of sight is that you don't have some great big mount to hold the red dot sight on. (Those mounts seem to be the problem with many jams (ie. brass getting hung up when ejected).

    Hello...

I have a Carver Mount with a C-More...I looked long and hard before I put a red dot on my G34.

I think it depends on what you are going to use it for. I use my for competition and so C-More on a carver seems to be a better choice because you would have what they called a dot searching problem with small sights such as Doctor for quick follow up shots. It's fine for general purpose and carry but may be a bit too small for target and comp. If you are going to do comp with it, then I suggest either a Carver or one of those 'The Accessories' mount and then either a C-More or the new Tasco variable dot. Again I opt for C-More because of the smaller signature and lighter weight.

BTW, finally competely sighted my G34 in and here is what it shoots at about 25 yards...

I have a FirePoint on my Glock 24C slide. I like it. It's definitely lower than any other optic I have seen.

This slide, can it be bought already machined to take the sight? Or was that an add on?

I had NOVAK's machine my slide for a Dr. Optic, and am very happy with it. I cannot believe how much faster I get on target with this setup.

Mine is on a factory ported gun(21C), and as far as I remember machining was about $80. I just sent them the slide, and they sent it back ready to go about 3 weeks later. I got the Dr Optic from Natchez (best price I have seen, but they are out of stock right now).
Edited to add: By machining the slide the optic sits lower, and you don't need to buy a $40 mount.

It looks like machining the slide is worth it...the sight does sits a lot lower...but I also wouldn't mind getting a complete new slide just so I can return to stock if I want...

What do you use your pistol for? Comps or casual plinking? How many rounds you shot and any problems with holding zero etc?

I've had the docter on a 21 for about 4 months now, since it was zeroed it has not changed in about 5000 rds, I got the mount adapter and it was a piece of crap, so I machined my slide, this is the way to go, the sight is as low as it can get and it looks good, you would not believe how much one of these things will tighten your groups up untill you actually shoot one.

What do you meant he mount is a piece of crap? Does it flex or bad machining?

Also do you know if this mount will also fit G34? Are G34 rear sight the same cut as the rest of the Glock's?

Maching the slide might be out of question for me at the moment since I am in Sydney Australia...:(
