Has anybody tried the DPM System guide rods out? Are they available in both pure mechanical and in magnetic? *Who sells them in the US? *

What's wrong with the stock guide rod?

Could it be just another gadget designed to separate
you from your hard earned money?

If your Glock is malfunctioning due to the stock guide rod,
send it back to Glock. They'll fix it right and cheaper.

If recoil is a problem, then practice more or switch to a
    smaller caliber.

BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE......It slices, it dices, it even julianns!

Sorry but Glock did not make the ultimate pistol right out of the box. There is always room for improvement. If this wasn't true, there would not be any kind of aftermarket for Glocks and they would never change their design. That being said, somethings are gemmick and somethings are worth looking at. If you don't have the money to play with or don't want to take a chance of improving your odds in defense; don't deviate!

Reason for my interest in the product is faster followup shots and potentual less weapon wear!

All things being equal (training, skill level, senario, etc), I'll take the weapon that gives me the advantage! Even if only slight.....lets say 1/100th of a second! Why not investigate alternative improvements. It might be worth it!

Glocks may not be the ultimate pistol, but for their intended purpose,
they're damn close to it right out of the box.

Most aftermarket items are gimmicks and useless gadgets that your
Glock would probably be safer and more reliable without.

The entire aftermarket industry that chases after Glock owners has one goal in mind,
and that's to make money selling you anything they think you'll buy.

Some aftermarket Glock stuff is just plain silly and some is outright dangerous.

Spend your hard earned money on training and ammo and your quest for
faster followup shots will be achieved.

Less weapon wear comes from proper cleaning and maintenance.
