I got to try my new order of DoubleTap 215 Gr. WFN in my G20 today and was impressed with the smooth feed. Especially since I have a Jarvis barrel. I believe the feed ramp is steeper than a stock barrel and the WFN has a relativley small amount of taper , I was concerned that the WFN may not feed as reliably. They worked flawlessly.

They worked fine through my 20 with a KKM barrel too.

Suprisely I had feeding problems with most WFN in my G20 with 3rd bbl but not with OEM bbl.

Also the 10XX smiths all worked great with WFN that I've used.

Nice Pic. Just got to love the long barrel. I use a 6" Jarvis and the extra 1.4" barrel makes a worthwhile difference on accuracy and velocity.

Speak softly and carry a large caliber Glock - I always say...

Do you guys think that shooting 5 of those through a stock barrel at the end of the day would be a problem?

My own personal opinion is that I would not shoot any DT ammo through a stock barrel. Actually I would not trust the stock barrel period for the 20 or 29. Remember this is only my opinion. I had the bucks to upgrade each of the barrels so I did. Brass comes out looking like new (no bulges anywhere) and I have peace of mind.

Stock barrel might be fine, or it might not be. I didn't feel like experimenting.

The stock barrel is fine, especially for carry. My carry gun has to function EVERY time with no exceptions. Stock barrels are quite accurate and dead on reliable. I had a KKM on my last G29 that was totally reliable but I would hate to have it cause a problem in a life threatening emergency. I have a BARSTO fitted in my longslide and its totally reliable now (after breaking in), but again, for a carry gun I will stay with stock.

As for the Beartooths, its okay to shoot them in your stock barrel The gas checked bullet is so hard it won't lead the barrel. Shoot away. Four rounds would MOST DEF not be a problem. Just ask Mike McMett.

Yes the GS check work great in the stock barrel plus the bullet is hard as a rock. leading is not going to be a problem after 5 ot 50 rounds ;)

I've shot all of DT's 10mm but the 215 and 230 in my stock G29 and G20 barrels with zero problems. As I don't reload, I'm not worried about the brass.

I have several barrels for the Glocks, but mostly to try different calibers.

Doubletap markets the Equalizer round. It is sort of a composite load utilizing bullet and ball. The total weight of the projectiles is 230 grains. While it is not a true single 230 grain bullet, it is a neat round.

Does anyone know how to put together a Longslide without spending a $1000 yet? I was hoping the LoneWolf LS would be available but I haven't heard anything lately.
I want that one for my "other Glock 10mm"

I know one way. If you already have the G20 then the slide and barrel wont cost you more than 800-something or less. :)

If you don't already have the G20, then the answer, so far as I know, is still 'no'.

nick, where can I get a lanyard like that?
I have a S&W 629 .44 mag with a 3" barrel. I installed the X-frame Hogue grip on it and have the lanyard loop on the bottom. Been looking for a lanyard and like the looks of that one.
    Thanks!

Nice looking long-slide G20 by the way!

WFR.... Thanks man, I love my G20L.

I got my lanyard at www.lonewolfdist.com ... Just search under Glock OEM. its the official Glock Lanyard. They come in Blue (LE) and OD (military?). I think they were fairly inexpensive....

I see your 6" sticks out of the slide a bit, I wonder if my 5.5 Barsto would work? I know yours is a .45/10 but I keep hoping LW will do the G20 setup. If not I'll be looking for a used G21 to start the process...

I've got a G29 for CCW, so a LongSlide will round out the 10mm Glock collection. Although then a nice Kimber or S&W might be nice also...
