Was digging around for small parts for my reloading setup. I noticed a couple of boxes pushed back on a shelf. I thought no way. Yup I picked up the blue midway boxes and they were heavy  500 rounds each 55 GR. FMJ 224 Score!
I bought these when Obamy was running the first time in Nov. I forgot about them. I also put away 1000 primers.

I did similar. Thought I ran out of .45 last year, ordered another case from MTG. When I went to put them away......guess what I found.....

    Feels like wining the lottery.

I did just the opposite today. I thought i had a case of small pistol primers and when i went to grab another pack of 100 and i couldn't find them. I haven't been able to find primers anywhere around here so in a panic i tore my reloading room apart until i finally found them!

I was looking through my primers and powder today and saw when I bought primers at a local shop about 5 months ago they gave me SP magnum primers instead of SPP. Boxes were so similar I did not notice it before. Good thing I can still get all kinds of primers locally including the elusive SPP.

Well I got a hair up my arse about four days after the election and took inventory of ammo to ensure I had enough. With 4 grand of factory (5.56mm) with about 1500reloads (5.56mm) and about another 500 of other mixed calibers. I need to stay off the reoading bench for a while. If I reloaded the rest of my brass I'm sure I'd have another 3000 rounds! So I'm GTG! But it's aways nice to find some ammo you thought you didn't have! Never have to much!

Been casting a whole bunch though-getting bullet stocks on hand! Never have enough bullets either:rofl:

I certainly would like to find some 223 bullets I forgot about.

It is not going to happen.:crying:

I wish the bullet fairy would pay me a visit. I think I would even be willing to give up some teeth.

I found a box of 5,000 .223 55 fmj in my warehouse today that were buried behind some other stuff. Sorry, I guess that doesn't really help your situation.
