I see the vehicle in this area, being near the walmart home office. I once saw one of the smaller ones parked at the library.

I used to see one of those driving all over the Miami area in the mid-70's to early-80's.
I've still got an old weiner whistle somewhere...

I've got a weiner whistle somewhere too. Nobody ever wants to blow on it.

The new weinermobiles are much smaller as they are built from a Mini Cooper. Its probally only 1/3 to 1/2 the size of the others. I used to work 1 block from the Oscar Mayer headquarters and would see both sizes weekly. I here its a very sought after job in the summer for collage-aged kids to drive those goofy things. Kids apply from all over the country for the job of driving those things around the entire country for marketing. I believe there are at least 3-4 of them if not more. Oscar Mayer's criteria for hiring must not include much of a driving exam judging from those photos.

Hopefully those smaller weinermobles are a little easier for their drivers to keep them on the the road without crashing. I am still careful driving anywhere near those things after seeing those photos.
