Color me disappointed. I hope the subsequent episodes pick up some intensity.

Pretty disappointed so far. Commercials are a constant annoyance. I don't think I'll tune in to the other two episodes. I've read a few histories of their troubles down through the years.

Was fortunate enough to know a few direct decendents of both Hatfields and McCoys. Went to school with them in the fifties. Nice folks on both sides.

But it seemed I knew as much history about them as they did.

By and large they were more interested in their futures than their past. But aren't we all when we are young and on fire?

Shoot I thought it was pretty good. At least compared to 99% of the absolute GARBAGE that finds its way to cable television.

    Looking forward to tonight's episode.

I liked the first episode enough to follow the remainder of it.

It a delicate balancing act for the writers and producers. Do they embellish to keep the short attention span folks, and lose the historical accuracy crowd, or do they present it as it was in the sake of history and lose the MTV generation?

I've enjoyed it so far and will watch it again tonight. I didn't have my hopes set too high so as not to be disappointed..

Yes! Lose the MTV generation! What a horrible, loathsome channel.
