Does anyone know what helps this best? I thought it was just female dogs that had this problem, but I was wrong. Our six month old male lab is just flat out killing my lawn everywhere he goes. I know there are fixes out there but which one have you tried that works?
    Thanks

the store like pet-smart will have a spray that keeps your lawn from being killed.

It neutralizes whatever is doing it,

there is something you can get at PetSmart to put in their food. it is a powder i believe and does no harm to your pet. you just sprinkle some on their food and it neutralizes their pee...

The reason why I trained my dogs to only go in one corner of the yard. That corner looks like the surface of the moon now after only about 2 years. NOTHING grows there but the rest of my lawn looks like a golf course. :)

My dog pees on the lawn all the time.
Must be good for St. Augustine grass in Fl.
The nitrogen in her pee gives me nice green spots as does drain field from septic tank.
    Go figure.

That is literally my next door neighbor. Nicest guy in the world, unless you have to fight him.

dolomite lime or Sweet PDZ will work. Buy it at a farm store and it is a lot cheaper than a dog store.

Wow! I did not know it can be a problem. I have two large German Shepherds that pee all over the place and grass seems to be doing just fine. If anything it seems to be growing a lot faster inside of the yard then outside.
