I have a Gen 4 Model 22 and was wondering if the standard Butt Plug will fit the
Gen 4 frame, I like to use them as I do get the gun wet at work most days .

any help would be great .

    Thanks for looking

I would say the odds of it working are between slim and none, and slim just left.

No, and getting the gun wet is all the more reason not to plug the drain hole.

I took the Armorer's Course yesterday and they say that the reason the hole is there is to drain water and crap out. "Only in America would someone pay good money to defeat a design feature."

I read that the plugs won't fit SF models when I was about to purchase the plug on a website...

Since the Gen 4 G17's and G22's that have been released are considered SF models (when not using backstraps) I assumed they won't work - I bought a Gen 4 G17 a few weeks ago and was wondering the same thing...

When I trade for a Glock with a plug I remove it and give it away to someone who wants a pretty gun with a flush fit on bottom.

Yeah I'm done looking for one to fit anyway. The sale bit was a joke as the thing was like $7.
