Did some searching but came up dry (that may be a bad sign).

I've done a bundle of reading/debating/etc. and have decided I want a 23C. Yeah, yeah, burns, flash, anything just shy of nuclear destruction is possible with the 'C', but if I find its not for me, I'll buy a stock 23 barrel and call 'er good...

Now, the hitch is I want this with an RTF slide (fish gills) with or without the RTF frame. I could go either way on the frame, but I would also like it in OD.

I know this is askin' a lot but a 23C RTF in OD....

they don't make the fish gills any more... I have a brand new RTF2 glock 23 shipped for the factory on the 20th of Jan with straight serrations... so good luck finding any glock with fish gills from here on out

OD and C do not mix.

...unless you buy one of each and combine.

I suppose you also like to have your cake, and eat it too.

You could always buy the RTF2 model and have the C added on later. I believe LoneWolf does it...

Then again, you can do anything...for a price.

Heck yeah!! Should be like Burger King "Have it your way!!" :)

    Well, well, well....

Apparently glockmeister may be able to get me an OD frame with an RTF slide, but again no "C".

burger king won't let you have it your way.

Just ask them to put honey mustard sauce on your burger for you. See how far you get. You probably end up like me arguing with the manager about their slogan, and explaining why just giving me a honey mustard sauce packet is not 'having it my way' and is instead 'being provided with the stuff to make it my way, but some assembly required'

    back on topic:
    Best advice is from above.
-Get an OD frame from another glock.
-Get the slide with fish gills on it.
-Send slide out to made into a compensated model.

There is a reason the fish gills are obsoleted...they are backwards from a slide retraction standpoint. Some one suggested they are oriented for "forward assist". So while perhaps collectible, they are not desirable (IMHO).
