She sliced it while opening a can of beans. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol and put neosporin on it, has a bandage over it now.

See attached photo. I had to help her from fainting![IMG]

It's hard to tell from photo but it kind of has a gap.

Personally, I would just keep it clean and bandaged for a few days, letting it air out when not at work. I've had worse cuts and it always worked for me.

if it won't stop after a minute or two of pressure, then yes. about 3 or 4.

I'm not a doctor, but I've cut myself enough

If it was me, I would slap a bandaid on it. So what if i had a scar and some numbness.

If it look just as bad on the other side of the finger. If it was my wife or my daughter, I would have it checked out at the ER. Looks like it could use a stitch or two.

First off I am reading these outloud and we both busted out laughing at the dinner remark.

It's not bleeding "fluid" right now, meaning it stopped but it's still messy. So bandage, and air out when not at work? She's laying down right now in bed should I have her take it off?

I don't guess it needs stiches (disclaimer: I am not a doctor). I personally treat cuts like that with a couple turns of electrical tape.

Clean it throughly, stop the bleeding, match the edges up and Krazy Glue the seam. Seriously.

Did she get blood on your sammich?

I cut my finger worse than that butchering a deer last oct. Hot chick was jogging by as I was making one of the last cuts to remove a hindquarter and slipped with my super sharp boning knife and almost cut to the bone with a dirty knife covered in seasoned deer flesh.

Cleaned it thoroughly, :wow::wow: antibiotic ointment and used a rubber glove to keep blood off the wound and it was healed in no time.
