I am switching my CCW gun and really like my old, leather holster but want to move to Kydex. I have searched but cannot find a holster that has the same clip placement and cant. Is there a company out there that makes it?

It looks similar to the basic idea of the custom Andrews Leather McDaniel II holster (I have one of those). This one just more of a mass-produced type with a metal clip instead. There are a few more with the concept (a belt loop that attaches behind the gun, so that the belt wraps around the gun and pulls it in tightly to the body).

Offhand, I don't know of a specific holster maker that makes something exactly like that, but surely somebody can make it.

Zorn Hosters apparently has a similar holster, the Skinny Rig (specifically with the "Canted Skinny Clip" belt mount) and it seems close...in so far as the clip is mounted behind the holster: https://www.zornholsters.com/quick-ship/quick-ship-skinny-rig

    actual photo here_https://www.zornholsters.com/media/...un-holster-canted-clip-front-zorn-holster.png

But it doesn't seem to have the amount of support for the gun (not as much material), so it may not exactly what you're looking for.

Well, I did a little more searching of Google Images.

Here is something very close, from K Rounds, LLC. The IWB Tuckable KYDEX Holster.

    http://www.krounds.com/iwb-holsters-the-iwb-tuckable-kydex-holster-p-64.html

Here is part of the page with a review that indicates the angle may be a bit extreme: http://www.krounds.com/kydex-holster-review-sig-p2022-springfield-xdm-a-32.html

And then...it looks like Blade-Tech introduced almost exactly what you are looking for in 2010 (http://www.policemag.com/channel/we...-inside-the-waistband-iwb-razor-holsters.aspx), but it's not listed on the current Blade-Tech website, and appears to be no longer in production.

I guess you could try to find one that somebody else has for sale, or doesn't want.

I would contact the guys at Foxx Holsters. I've been using what's called a Lil Foxx and it's my all around favorite holster. I went in to their shop, which is about 4 miles from my home. His sh op set up is great and he has the ability to custom make just about anything you can want.
When I turned 50 I spoiled myself and got a Glock 29. The story is I went shopping to all the LGS looking for a hybrid type holster of some type. When I didn't find what I was the counter man told me about Foxx Holsters. When I finally contacted they really made an impression on me. Great products and service from them.
Call them you may be surprised.
    Good luck with your search.

Awesome - this is as close as I have seen. I will reach out to them. If I can't find a perfect match I suppose I should look for a custom holster...

Thanks....I had not seen Foxx Holsters, they are neat. If I was going to do a hybrid, though, I would stick with my stealthgear. I love the material but it is just too big.

Best of luck to you in your search. I use Bianchi leather.
