Since Glock seems to be refusing to make carbines, it seems like Mech-Tech is the next best choice.

Does anyone have one of these? If so, how is it?

Ive shot them and they work great. But really its more of a novelty item. Your carbine should be totally separate from your pistol. .223 round is a whole lot better than a pistol round(much more expensive these days). but, you can go with a 5.45x39 round, which is the cheapest these days and also a excellent round. The mech-tech will shoot your pistol round at around 1500 FPS, while the 5.45 is 3000 FPS. Also its only 130 bucks for 1080 rounds. Its the cheapest ammo to be shootin now. Doesnt mean the mech-tech CCU is bad, its certainly nifty, and if it floats your boat, then get it. But like i said, your carbine should be totally separate, better accuracy, better penetration and longer range . and cheaper ammo if you buy 5.45 instead of 5.56.

I have 2 mech-techs,1 in 45acp and 1 in 9mm, and both are very reliable and very accurate. They are a hoot to shoot. Excellent value for the money.
