Does anyone here carry their G19 in an IWB holster in the SOB position??
i carry a G26 in a galco SOB holster but its OWB its great and i have carryed it like that for a year or longer.
Prepare for the onslaught of folks that will tell you that you could be paralyzed if you fall when you carry SOB.
Any particular reason why you want SOB? i've generally found this the most uncomfortable place to carry. That said, yes, it can be done. Guy who taught me how to shoot carried a G32 SOB.
Really. Comfortable IWB holsters for the G19 are hard enough to find, but finding one that's comfortable in the SOB position sounds like quite the challenge.
That's not a good place to carry while on a scoot.
Yeah that's gonna hurt like heck but I doubt it would paralyze a person just from a regular fall, the lower part of your back has to hold up a lot of weight, it is the thickest and strongest part of the spine. For me it's a question of "Do I need the extra pain of breaking my fall with my Glock if pushed down in a SD situation?"
I have carried there at times but mainly I carry a different way. For my small frame, IWB hurts too much no matter where it is.
Looks good on TV.
Oh I highly doubt it would cause paralysis... its just what is proselytized here. I have no doubt it probably hurts like crazy. Like most things in life, truth is in the middle between two arguments.
