Do you use Breakfree CLP as a lubricant on your Glock?

I have many Glocks and I use Hoppe's #9 Benchrest copper solvent inside the bore. I then use Breakfree CLP to wipe down the entire gun. After that, I use Breakfree CLP one drop at a time on each piece of metal in the frame and where metal contacts metal on the slide and outside of the barrel. Anyone else use a system kind of like this? Just curious.

I use Eezox, mostly. My wife doesn't like the smell, so I use Breakfree CLP on all her handguns, including her Glocks.

That or Mobil1 is what I use. Depends if it’s a full in cleaning or just a lube job.

I've never had a drop of CLP in the house.
    Clean with Hoppe's #9
Lube with Rem-Oil or Ski-Doo chain oil...mabe la dab of lithium bearing grease on side rails.

I do use the little plastic bottle that came with my Ed Brown Kobra Carry for the Dooo oil so people think I'm cool.

Some how the guns still pretty much work.

Yes, Breakfree CLP is my usual, although I've got so much of other lubricants, I've been trying to use the other lubricants up, lately. Breakfree CLP came with the Glock Armorer's tool kit (or at least used to; only bought two kits over the years).

I also like Breakfree CLP as it's available in various quantities and dispersal methods.

I do find Breakfree CLP a bit too "oily" for cleaning, however, and will usually choose something else for plain cleaning (WD40, RemOil, silicon spray, out of MPro7 right now but might get more).

I too use Hopee's # 9, to clean and Breakfree CLP to lubricate my duty and off duty guns.
It's worked for me for years so I stick with it. I think we overthink this whole lubrication thing. With frequent maintenance I don't foresee a problem using any quality lubricant intended for forearms.

CLP works fairly well, but tends to run off the pistol in really hot weather. I lube my Glocks w/ Lubriplate #105 engine ass'y grease. Very similar to TW25B, which it excellent, but very pricey.
Use a Q tip or small hobby paint brush, and a little bit goes a long way. Any decent Auto parts store has it. And it does not melt, to speak of, doesn't harden, and stays where you put it.
Lube per Glock's recommendation, and away you go.
Per the Old Mechanic's recommendation: If it rotates, oil it. If it slides, grease it. Simple and true.

I used Breakfree since the 80's. I did switch to Lucas and FP10 though recently. I use Lucas oil and grease on most of my metal frame guns. I used FP10 on 1911's and everything else including Glocks.

    CLP or more recently Lucas.

ETA - But I've only been using CLP for 20 years or so, so I guess the jury is still out.

Going to use Break Free CLP to clean my GLOCK the next time. The book says use a "cleaner-lubricant-preservative."

I have used CLP and do so now along with other lubs. Many good products out there and recently tried Mobil 1 10-30, seems to be doing OK
