    Shooting at an opponent who has fallen to the pavement but is still pointing a firearm at you? Wound ballistics could get someone in trouble if there are no other witnesses.

    Whether he's on his belly, on his feet, or on his back, he's still a deadly threat and must be treated accordingly. Competent post-mortem examination and crime scene investigation can put it all together.
