Do you pay to get your car detailed or do you do it yourself? Why?
So your nick name is a lie after all!My 1999 Ford Ranger has never been detailed by me or anyone else.
My 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser has never been detailed by me or anyone else.
I never eat or drink in my vehicles so that eliminates many of the sources of stains.
Other than that, I shower daily and routinely launder my clothing so there isn't really much chance of the interior getting too dirty from me or my clothing. Although I must admit that I do occasionally remove and shake out the floor mats. Why? Because I can.
As a matter of fact, passengers often remark that my vehicle interiors still look factory fresh.
When it rains, the cobwebs, dust and bird poop disappear from the exteriors to my satisfaction .
By the same token; my table saw, my miter saw, my lawn mower, my chain saw, my circular saw, my reciprocating saw, my jigsaw, my drills, my hand tools (i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, etc.), my multimeter, my soldering irons, my oscilloscope, my shovels, my rakes, my pruning saws, my BBQ grill, my bicycles, my bowling ball, et cetera, have never been detailed.
After all, these are merely tools that serve a specific purpose. Many if not all of which are currently 40 to 50 years old and they still work as good as the day that I bought them. No mess. No fuss.
YMMV
