"I cooked it it ten minutes instead of 12 or 250 degrees instead 350.
    IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE !

On something as simple as making deviled eggs, if I tell you I make them with Duke's mayo don't go blaming me if you use Miracle Whip or some other cheap trash containing sugar. :)

"It was developed as a less expensive alternative to mayonnaise in 1933." Half the fat, and it has sugar and high-fructose corn syrup. Mayo either doesn't have sugar or just a bare touch.

Duke's ingredients: "Duke's Real Mayonnaise contains soybean oil, eggs, water, distilled and cider vinegar, salt, oleoresin paprika, natural flavors, and calcium disodium EDTA (added to protect flavor)."

I have often wondered at the fascination and perhaps obsession with KFC's recipe. I don't get it. A decent fast-food chicken is what I'd label their original recipe. :dunno:

Even with fast food choices, I'd pick several/most over KFC now days.

As to the original post? Unless you make your living selling your food, I also don't get the big secret. Share the knowledge and who knows, you may receive a gift of culinary knowledge in return?

I think it really comes down to the method of how they cook it. They use pressure cookers when frying so this is supposed to impart flavor into the meat better? Maybe it does and most likely has something to the method. Me, I like a old fashioned Griswold cast iron chicken fryer!
