My fun car is a motorcycle. HH
Everything I drive is fun, and all have been used as commuters. I see no point in owning a boring car.
A series of Tahoes.
Daily: Jeep Grand CherokeeFun: BMW Z4, Harley Davidson Sportster
With a 2 and 4 year old and another in the near future there is no room for a fun car.
2008 Toyota Sequoia (8 passenger) for the worst winter can offer and for long road trips. 2009 Toyota Highlander for around town and when it's just the 4 of us. 2004 Toyota Sienna (8 passenger) when I need more room than the Sequoia offers with the footprint of the Highlander.
If my commuter car wasn't a fun car, I'd spend a lot of time hating my life. The fact that I can't justify having a second car doesn't really factor into it at all.
I have a Miata that passes as a commuter vehicle for me. When I have a family, I may get a WRX or 3 Series wagon. Unless I end up with a wife that wants a Honda Fit or something...in which case she can drive if the kids are going anywhere.
The German's know their wagons.
My fun ride is my old project truck.
My daily commuter car is a 12' Toyota Camry. It's not exactly fun to drive but it's reliable as the devil and great on gas. My 02 YukonXL is for hauling stuff for my rentals. It's also great on gas for the size and very easy to work on.
is having two cars even cost effective? I seriously doubt it.
Mazda 3 sedan for a daily commuter. It gets fantastic gas mileage and I drive it most of the time.
For fun in the mountains, a bit more cargo capacity, or when the snow gets really deep, I have a Nissan Xterra.
Why the hell do you own the maxima?!!
Those are some amazing cars. Which is your favorite?
For myself, i used to own an '08 BMW M3 and a commuter Honda CRV. Two cars, although very fun, wasnt the best investment.
I decided to get a 328i (sport, 6MT) and just drive the crap out of it. Hopefully one day i can easily afford a very nice "fun" car, but for now, ive decided to get one 'decent' car that is both fun and can be a daily driver.
97 Accord as a DD. 08 Tundra for hauling stuff to have fun with.
I see you debadged your Jeep. I like the clean look of it. I debadged mine too.
The Maxima is my favorite.
In fact, if there was a fire and I could only save one car, it would be the Maxima. All the other cars are replaceable through insurance, but I'll never be able to find a 330K mile Maxima as well cared for as mine.
Ford Escape for work.
The others are for fun.
Post a dashboard (in-car) pic of each if you can. Are the IS-F and GTR both digital gauges?
The pic you posted looks like all the cars are in a parking lot. Do you live in a condo? None of those cars get a garage?
