Ever have a drink idea you thought would be pretty good, but it ended up totally tanking? :dunno:

    I just had one:
    • Canadian Hunter
    • Coke
    • 99 Bananas
    Yeah...not too great. :puking:

Sounds gross! But then again, I am a trained professional.

99 Bananas use should probably be kept to a minimum unless you're using fruit juice(s) or something chocolate in the drink.

Brown liquors should not be used with 99 bananas. Stay with clear liquors, ie rum or vodka.

But the great thing is that it's fun to experiment. And you DON"T have to drink your mistakes. Find a gullable sucker to be your lab rat.

Yuck! How did that sound good? LOL! Are you drunk already?

Clear liquors go with fruit juice. Brown liquors go with soda/cola.

LOL, I'm not too sure how it sounded good. I went to the store, and picked it up for my wife, and thought, "Hmmm...should I?" Nope.

I'm drinking it. It isn't terrible, but it tastes like medicine.

The drink it was bought for was the "Sterling COCKtail". This is as it was recorded in a quaint little resort in Barbados a few months ago:

Well, went with a more "traditional" Rum & Coke this time. No nanners, or cherries, or other fruity crap.

    MUCH better. :)

Jim Beam (or most any other bourbon) goes real well with Mountain Dew. With Ice.

    Yumm.

Lime juice and Bailey's. Otherwise known as a "Cement Mixer".

We used to win bets on power drinkers by making them a "Jersey Shore".

It's made by draining the bar mats into a glass and garnish with a cigarette butt.

For the record, Maker's Mark and "Big Red" soda is actually halfway decent.

Whiskey goes pretty well with orange soda.

I mixed Gin and Mountain Dew together once; I didn't care for that.

Unfortunately, I mixed a big glass of that too, something like 8-10 oz of gin to about 3/4 can of Mountain dew. I killed it it like a beer and went on to my next experiment.
