Title says it all, do no gun signs carry any weight in KY? I live on the WV/KY border and spend quite a bit of time in KY. I haven't really looked hard, but I haven't been able to find an answer.

    Thanks guys!

Unless it's a place cover by our CCDW laws not too much. If they notice you have a gun they can ask you to leave. If you don't leave then you can and probably will be arrested for trespassing but not for a gun violation. As a rule, I honor the wishes of the place. If I don't agree with it, then I don't have to go in the place. That's just me.

Berretta 9 is right. If it's a private establishment you can be charged with trespassing after being asked to leave. I carry most of the time and don't pay attention to the "No Weapons Allowed" because I carry very concealed and will get "made" only if being frisked.

Thanks for the replies guys. Sounds like the law is the same as here in WV.

Yea, I travel back and forth to KY alot (from there) and the gun signs in Kentucky don't have nearly as much power as they do here in Ohio. In KY they are really just a suggestion because they don't have much legal power. In Ohio its a felony to be caught carrying on posted private property.
