Do glocks not like 'one in the pipe' and a full mag?a

Hi,
I just purchased a Talo Special Edition EXO Glock 27.
With my Sig Sauer P220/P239 and Kahr MK40 I normally put a full
mag in the gun, pull back the slide and load one in the chamber.
Then I remove the mag, add one more topping it off
and re-insert it into the gun (for mag +1 loading).

My G27 will do this but I have to force it and it doesn't feel right.
Seems like it was designed to load from a full clip and that's it.
No +1.

The manual seems to confirm this with it's loading instructions?
Please advise.
Thanks

The mag spring is new and it is offering a lot of resistance. Keep it loaded compleatly and it will eventually take a set.
FYI: Load a single round in another mag and strip it from there, then insert the fully loaded mag. (Much less stressful)
