While on the quest for a new CC weapon ive started looking at the lower end of .45's stuff like Citadel and RIA..Ive also noticed a lot of people saying the cheaper ones will digest ball ammo all day but have problems with HP's do any of the lower priced ones work well with HP's as this would be a CC weapon???

oh and BTW Id be looking at a 4" model I have heard the smaller they get the more problems they have unless they are specifically engineered for compactness like say the EMP??? true? false? if want the smallest RELIABLE one that I could get to feed HP's I guess is what im getting at

I have had experience with three RIA tactical 45s. I own one as does my son and my best friend has the third. All shoot great with no issues. The only thing I would rather would be if it came with the three dot sights rather than plain black.

I owned a stock Norinco that would eat anything I put in it. The only change I made was to get some Wilson Combat mags as the factory one it came with just felt cheap.

yeah I dont mind replacing mags if thats one of the things what will get them working better. I just know that some just seem to NOT want to work with HP's without a bunch of work and thats the ones im trying to avoid.

Does the RIA even come in a 4" model or just 5"&3.5" I guess actually if it works well at 7+1 the 3.5 would be the way to go?? I have NOT seen a RIA locally but I have seen the Citadel compact locally.
